- evaluation of the defining security parameters, through examination and testing;

- verification of the fulfillment of the set of acceptability criteria for the medical device (imposed values, specified limits, accessories, etc.);
- issuing a test report containing the results obtained from the examinations and tests, if the medical device does not meet the acceptability criteria and if at least one of the measured values of the essential security or performance requirements is close to specified permitted limits;
- issuance of a periodic verification bulletin, based on which the medical device can be used.
